It is important to continue involving the local community during construction of the North-West T-way.
Community members are encouraged to become involved by providing local knowledge of their neighbourhood which may assist the T-way project team. Feedback on construction activities is also welcome.
Local residents are encouraged to contact the team directly via the T-way Info Line 1800 335 742.
Communication activities include:
Notifications, monthly construction updates and newsletters distributed to local residents
Monthly construction updates emailed to interested parties on our mailing list.
Weekly traffic updates emailed to interested parties on our mailing list.

COMMUNITY LIAISON GROUP (CLG)
A Community Liaison Group (CLG) has been established to provide input into construction and operational issues of the North-West T-way project.
CLGs are made up of community members who can represent a range of local interests and views.
Discussions are encouraged during the meetings and focus on issues associated with the design, construction and operation of the North-West T-way such as construction impacts or traffic and urban design issues.
The group meets once a month, usually in the evening.
Joining the CLG
Community representatives are required to represent a local street, local community group or business association.

INDEPENDENT COMMUNITY LIAISON REPRESENTATIVE
An Independent Community Liaison Representative (ICLR) has been appointed to the project.
The ICLR's role is to:
Facilitate community liaison group meetings.
Advise on the content and implementation of the Community Involvement Plan.
Advise on community issues.
Provide direct contact with the community to help resolve issues.
The ICLR is available by appointment from 7.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday and 8.00am to 1.00pm Saturdays (excluding public holidays and public holiday weekends).

DISPLAY CENTRE
A display centre is open to visitors during construction of the North-West T-way. Visit the display centre to meet staff and review plans, including noise mitigation designs and urban design details.
The display centre is open Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 6.00pm and Saturday from 8.00am to 1.00pm. On the second Tuesday of every month, the centre is open until 9.00pm.
The centre will be closed on public holidays and on long weekends.
Visitors with specific enquiries or issues are encouraged to make an appointment with display centre staff by calling 1800 335 742.
